WOW!! I mean could i be anymore of a stranger around these here parts?! I mean c'mon! I feel like the worst blogger in history, i dont even know if i can techinally even call myself a blogger right now, with my last post being in MAY and all. eeeeek.

well my sincerest apologies to any and all that might still be following this little neglected baby of mine. I promise from here on out i will pay more attention to my little love, i know i know, familiar tune right?! Im for reals this time. My life is finally in the ups and I am happier than i could have ever imagined in a million years that i would be.

First of all its Christmas, and who in their right mind doesnt love the time of year, huh?!

The smell of christmas trees fill the air, well for my home its the smell of plastic artificial trees, but hey, whos keeping up with that.........a trees a tree right?!...

right?!

And as if the time of year isnt enough to make me beam with joy, I have also met my other half....

oh whats that you say? when did this development occur?

we met back in the beginning of August, my co worker actually introduced us after she asked my what my ideal man would be, and low and behold, the gals on the money when it comes to fixin her peeps up. I have never felt this way about anyone in my entire life and I dont know what i would do without this sweet man of mine. He makes my life complete.

both of our best friends live there, together { i know right??!! how crazy is that}

and we are going to visit!!!

it being baby Slade's daddy's weekend and all, i figured, why not?!! i deserve a little daycation and a little bit of day drinking while boating right??!!

Such were the words of my girl natballs on my fb wall this morning.

and she couldnt be more right.

so i decided to schooch on over to this here neglected bloggy of mine to do some catching up with my good ol bloggy friends.

since i havent written in like, oh I dont know, FEREVER?! im thinking i will just make a list. a list of the goodnesses in my life lately and things that i am lovin.

first and foremost. MISS YOU GUYS.

next on the list. LEE WON AMERICAN IDOL! hooray. Now yes, i know this was the least watched. lowest rated idol to date, but if you didnt get to catch the finale last night, it was frickin amazing and totally made up for the junky season. it was *star studded* fo shiz. and Lee was my fav from the beginning so im totally down with mr. baby blues taking home the gold. yummy yummy.........

oh wait, back to the list. excuse me while i wipe the drool of my desk.

GLEE. I am dangeroulsy obsessed with this show. and dangerously sexually desiring Puck. HAHA. no but really. could he BE anymore sexy?

It feels so good to be back

Well lovers. I am BAAAACCCKK!!!

I am officially part of  the working world!! Thats right I officially have a J-O-B!! and I love it more than I ever thought I could love a job!

not to mention its double what I was making before at my old job! I mean c'mon. Can I get a whoop whoop?

I mean I paid ALL my bills with my check last week?! can you beleive it?! so that means that this weeks paycheck is PLAY TIME!!!

I am getting my huura did on saturday, which i couldnt be anymore ecstatic about to be completely honest with you. Its been a hot minute since i have had the extra moolah to get it done, its practically screaming out in dyer need of attention...get it?? "dyer" i know i know. my humor is so original.

{too much longer and my hair will literally be a pig stye}

not only do i have a mommy hair day planned, but an enitre mommy NIGHT!!! yes thats right, its daddys turn to keep my monster overnight this saturday so mommy can have a little play time!!! HOO HAAAAYYYY

So heres the plan:

after the beautifying appt, off to tar-gey where i WILL purchase these babies.

{must. have. on. my .toesies. NOW}

along with some other essentials.

then off to find a few more outfits for my j-o-b. Since now i have to dress up 4 out of the 5 days in high class b-e-utiful clothing, its time to shop til i drop!!!!!!

im excited for the weekend.

tomorrow needs to come with the quickness. payday + friday = one happy meg.

Well, my beloved friends of the blog world...

I may or may not have had a few bud lights and feel like confessing a few things.

I have been down in the dumps lately.

I have had a few interviews with another one coming up on monday, but i still cant help but feel hopeless and i dont know why.

If it were just myself and not slade i wouldnt worry as much, but im a single momma here,and taking care of him is way more important than myself.

i still have my child support but i hate wondering if i am going to be able to pay for my bills on my own without any help.

and then i have freaking dreaded court on tuesday which slade basterd father is responsible for and my VERY WELL PAID attorney wont return my phone calls.awsome huh? yea exactly what i was thinking. she can suck it.

and to top it all off Nash leaves for army basic training on monday, and i am dreading it like none other.

I miss him already and cant imagine my days without at least two phone convos with him.

im lonely, lost and so confused as to where my life is heading.

all i know is that i have the most amazing, wonderful little boy who makes it worth waking up everyday to see his beautiful little face.

i love him more than words can say and i pray that momma will soon have a great job so i can buy pretty things for my mister!!

So lemme catch you up on all things me at the moment.

Remember the temp job I told yall about?

Well i have been there since monday and I am L-O-V-ING it!!!

It is amazing to see a store evolve in front of your own eyes and to know that you played a part in making that amazing.

I am having a blast meeting all these new people and making new friends. and lemme tell you, After working with the same 8 people for almost 2 years, it is nice to be around actual civilization again!

And the girls i have met are hilarious beyond beleif and incredible people. I am truley going to miss working with them!

BUUUTT!!! I had an interview today for a management position at another little boutique and also have 2, yes thats right TWO interviews next week that I am super excited about. The two are for positions like I was in before, a monday thru friday thing so im uber pumped about seeing how it all plays out!!

IN other news, the love life is still where it was when i left you last, so no big changes there, still loving my nash but no "officialness" yet. bummer. but oh well, dont gots no time fo a beau with all the working I will hopefully be doing soon!

It is my vow to you that I will be back to my usual self, trying my hardest to update my little blog baby here daily. For i do miss my friends!!

Now i must go catch up on all things you guys!!!

sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy.

Today things are looking up.

I went to an open interview the other day, for Anthropologie, the higher end side of urban outfitters.

they are opening up a new store in the hoity toity part of town for the richies.

Well i got a call back today for their temp position!

Now its only 10 days but it will be60 hrs of work.

Hey its a job and its some moolah moolah.

there is a chance it could turn into permanent. we will see.

Im still super stoked.

I have been applying like crazy at lotsa different places so fingers crossed something comes through!!

I wanna thank all of my girls for being there for me and all your kind words the other day.

I was def in a funk to end all funks but things are looking up today.

its sunshiney and beautiful and i had that superb phone call this morning.

I promise tomorrows post will be ever so bettah than todays.

For i am dealing with THE FUSSIEST BABY IN THE WORLD.

he has his first tooth pushing through and its crazy around these parts.

alright all...this is the one and only post i have been absolutely DREADING to write.

its been a dreary weekend around these parts.

I might not be as blog- religious for the time being as I have now become a victim of being laid off.

yes. you read right. I lost my job, of almost 2 years.

and im a single mom.

so lifes not so bright and happy right now.
