4. I dont have a tv in my room and I still sleep in a twin size bed. hey dont laugh. I share my room with a 7 month old.

5. Im suuuuper picky about my hair. Like when i actually take the time to do it, its gotta look good. aint gonna waste that time for fugly hair. i meaaaaan.....

6. i am super duper depressed that TGIFridays discontinued the fried mac n cheese. that was the only reason why i even went to the damn place. You will be missed cheezy goodness.

7. on that note i found the target brand of the stuff and its just as tastey and cheaper to boot! HOOOORAAAY!!

sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy.

Alright lovvaahs.

Today things are looking up.

I went to an open interview the other day, for Anthropologie, the higher end side of urban outfitters.

they are opening up a new store in the hoity toity part of town for the richies.

Well i got a call back today for their temp position!

Now its only 10 days but it will be60 hrs of work.

Hey its a job and its some moolah moolah.

there is a chance it could turn into permanent. we will see.

Im still super stoked.

I have been applying like crazy at lotsa different places so fingers crossed something comes through!!

I wanna thank all of my girls for being there for me and all your kind words the other day.

I was def in a funk to end all funks but things are looking up today.

its sunshiney and beautiful and i had that superb phone call this morning.

I promise tomorrows post will be ever so bettah than todays.

For i am dealing with THE FUSSIEST BABY IN THE WORLD.

he has his first tooth pushing through and its crazy around these parts.

alright all...this is the one and only post i have been absolutely DREADING to write.

its been a dreary weekend around these parts.

I might not be as blog- religious for the time being as I have now become a victim of being laid off.

yes. you read right. I lost my job, of almost 2 years.

and im a single mom.

so lifes not so bright and happy right now.

I am trying my hardest to look for jobs and have applied to many online.

wish me luck and pray that i find something super duper soon.

aiiiiight friends...

so I had one of THE BEST weekends i have had in a super duper long time.

it started saturday with CAR SHOPPING.

and can you beleive it??!!! I GOT ONE!! i am one happy happy girl.

and then saturday i got to go out for like the first time in seriously FER-EVER.

saw some of my best girls, met some new folk, ate some FIRE mexican and had superb margs. that night = LEG-EN...wait for it......DARY.

 and to boot, on valentines day, my lovely, incredible mommy gave me my present. which was....are you ready???

we ventured to the mall for a glorious family outing which resulted in more money being spent by yours truley.

Sephora is discontinuing my make up.

the make up  i literally JUST found. i was angry.

BUUUUUT that meant it was all half off. which was AWESOME. so i racked up.

thank you sephora and big ups to you too cargo blu-ray makeup. you are truely a blessing to my life, and my face.

oh thursday thursday, why must you be so cruel?? morning came too early for meeee.

in other news, I love my nash, but he gave me a defective ipod.

yes, he gave me an ipod, which is more than love worthy, but I am this close to chunking the damn thing across the room. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH IT.

i got the blues.

I find myself to be overly emotional today.

like for riz, just to give you an idea, i cried for, oh i dunno, the fifth time today, when i didnt put water in slades bottle before pouring the scoop of formula in.

yea. thats how bad it is.

why you ask??

as you all know, nash was in town this weekend. and he couldnt break away from family time long enough for us to have the night i planned for us, but he did come see me last night for a few hours.

it was everything i wanted my time with him to be. it was amazing, fun, passionate, comfortable, and way to short.

i caught myself thinking, this is what i want to do everyday. I could be here for the rest of my life with him.

we laughed, played, starred into each others eyes, held each other just to hear each other breathe.

it was incredible. beyond perfect.

and just like that it was over. saying goodbye to him was the hardest thing i have done.

neither one of us wanted to say goodbye and let each other go when i walked him out.

he says he will be back before he leaves for good, so i dont know why i am so upset.

I miss him more than i ever could imagine missing someone. i missed him the second he pulled out of my driveway.

First and foremost thank you ALL so much for your ideas yesterday! they tremendously helped me in figuring out what to plan.

and now i realize that I def do not need to overthink it and that you were all right when you said probably just anytime together would be perfect since we havent seen each other in so long.

and yes ladies, it wasnt a typo when i said OVER A YEAR. i know its crazy right? ya know, we had a brief intermission when i was busy forming a human and giving birth to him. and now my little monster is almost 7 months old, so that gives you an idea of how long. and PAINFUL it has been not to see him.

But i think i have decided on at least one nights festivities, and I must say im pretty excited, cause not only is it something he has never done, but to be honest i havent either! and I live in this damn city!

There is a place downtown memphis called Kooky Canucks {previously known as big foot lodge}  that is known for its crazy delish food and gigantic burgers, and when I say gigantic, well just see.....

is it bad that I am more excited about the oversized cocktails and draft beers, complete with your very own take home mug?

its in an awesome location, and I thought after dinner we would stroll around downtown and listen to the memphis night life, maybe stop here and there for a few more beverages and just enjoy each other.

it was brought to my attention last night, by nash, that I am apparently in charge of figuring out what to do when he comes down this weekend.

I am so not a planner when it comes to things like this.

But seeing as this could quite possibly be the last time I see him before he goes to army basic training, AND the first time we have seen each other in a year, I want it to be really fun and special for us.

SO this is where I need the help from my lovely blogger ladies.

I know so many of you are romantics and I KNOW ALL of you know how to have a fun time.

glitter in the air.

Seeing as I was literally iced in all weekend, I did not have a very adventurous weekend.

see, my little town of memphis got hit big time with an "ice storm"

now what we, here in memphis, call an ice storm, you northerners would call a spring time dusting.

but Im talking ice ,on top of snow, on top of ice.

the city was literally shut down. it was insane.

I did however manage to stay up to date with my shredding.

kudos and numerous pats on the back for yours truley.

I am on day 6 of shredding and I feel awesome.

and by friday im sure i will feel even more awesome!
